Catherine DeMayo

Personal Trainer/Group Exercise Instructor

Welcome

It is never too late - nor too early - to make positive changes to your health and fitness. And the good news is, even modest changes can improve your wellbeing and enhance your quality of life.

Yet change is not easy. For every 10 people who join a gym in January, two thirds have stopped going regularly by April.

Over half the people who succeed in losing weight regain it within a year.

Numerous studies - as well as mounting anecdotal evidence - show that people who have support and guidance are far more likely to succeed in their fitness aims. My commitment to you, as my client is that:

  • I will work with you to achieve you goals of  better health, strength, fitness and flexibility with my personal fitness plans.
  • Together we will get you fitter and stronger, enhancing your confidence and self-esteem. This will not only involve exercise, but working on lifestyle changes such as reducing stress, managing your time, making healthier food choices and setting goals.
  • I may refer you to other practicioners for specific areas such as diet or physiotherapy. I work with a network of other health professionals in whom I have respect and confidence, and sometimes use their expertise and advice to assist my clients. This team approach means that the client receives care and advice that is complimentary and coordinated.
